The 959 needs no introduction. The most advanced car to come out of the 1980's, a poster car of the era inspired by the Gruppe B regulations of the time.
The mechanics of the powertrain are pure motorsport derived from "Moby Dick" 935, whilst the flared body work is a mixture of aluminium and kevlar.
Performance was other worldly 0-60 in 3.7 secs on to a top of 197mph, all of this whilst cosseted in a leather clad, air conditioned cabin and pinned to the road with the most advanced 4-wheel drive traction control system of the time. The 959 is a seminal car, the fastest of its time when built and today the most desirable of the brand.
Our example, one of 345 made by the factory, sits in a European collection and being a collector's item is accident-free and in unrestored original condition.
As expected this means all labels/plates that were attached before shipment from the factory to the vehicle, are still present. The original wallet, maintenance check book, all vehicle keys and even the tool kit is in the original leather case.
As well as a complete history the car is also certificated confirming the originality and accompanied by condition report grade 1.
